About Me
Hello! I'm Larry Deviney author of Brazen Deceptions of the Pre-Trib rapture. I am obviously post-trib, believing that the rapture occurs after the great tribulation. I know that the most common belief in America today is the pre-tribulation view, but I believe that the pre-trib position is not the most scriptural, as I have shown throughout the book. I just felt that if the pre-trib position on the rapture is wrong, that God would want His people to know about it.
I was saved at the age of 25 in 1980, and I have been researching the events of the rapture and end-time prophecy for many years.
I was once a pre-trib believer until my early 30s, and I have now believed in the post-tribulation position for nearly 40 year.
However, we are saved by the grace of God, through faith in Christ Jesus His Son, and not by which position or views we have on the rapture and end-time prophecy.
My Story
Well, I officially retired when I turned 71 in December 2025. My photo on the Home Page was taken in 2023. I have four kids and eleven grandkids. So, I'm still getting used to retirement, it gives me more time for the book, and for networking and marketing.
Music has always been a part of our lives, but for me it seems that finding the time to play or make videos is harder to come by these days. I think that will change once my book is finished. I have a few videos on youtube with my own copyrighted lyrics and music. Since this domain is about my Christian book, I have added on the Newsletter Page, one of the Christian videos, a song that the Lord helped me to write, called `The Word`. It's all my music except for the drums. It doesn't show me playing, it's all nice video clips that go right along with the music.
Well hopefully, after I get squared away with this website, I will be set up to direct customers to Amazon to purchase the book. I have a few ideas for freebies for those who buy the book early with a pre-order on Amazon. I hope to improve the website as I go, and later on adding more pages. But it's mainly for promoting and marketing the book.
I was an entrepreneur for just shy of 30 years, and for the last seven years of my career I was an employee, working for the man. I made this move basically to help prepare for retirement. So, since retirement, the good Lord willing, I should have more time for music again and for whatever is needed to help promote the book. Also, working in a little travel and vacation time would be nice.
